We have quoted (but not yet written) a custom that can do this. Your speed dials would be set up as route points. The name of the route point is the number to dial with commas for pauses. To do the speed dial, simply dial the proper route point.

I have tried this on our system - it does not work. It ring the route point extension 4 times and goes to voice mail.

Of course. This is a custom application we would like to write for you. This is not native ShoreTel functionality.

Bump!

I would love to hear if this is possible now. I've researched this for quite some time and I'd love to know how.

Amazing a $99 telephone system will do that. With ST we can get a "custom" -- custom anything for $3K minimum

+1 for this feature.

Sounds pretty basic to develop. We have contacts that don't have DIDs and we need to manually key in their extension number. The whole purpose of CM is to dial automatically, right?
